Easy Creamy Tomato Pasta Sauce
The easiest creamiest pasta sauce made with pantry staples in only 5 minutes!
Ingredients
- 800 g Tomato pasta sauce I like using a mix of arrabiata for a little bit of spice and basilico, but you can use whatever kind of tomato sauce you have on hand!
- 1 cup cashews (140g) which have been presoaked in hot water for 5 minutes. If you have a high-speed blender you can slip this step
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast (15g)
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional only add if necessary as your pasta sauce may already have enough salt)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy. Serve with your favorite pasta! Only add enough sauce to coat the amount of pasta that you are serving and save the rest for later.
- This sauce stays good in the fridge for 4 days and freezes well for longer storage.
